Community of Practice
2026 Finance Leader
Community of Practice
Many nonprofit finance leaders, regardless of mission or impact area, face similar challenges in their function. These challenges may become more difficult to address due to isolation in their role and limited opportunities for peer support. Our 2026 Finance Leader Community of Practice offers a collaborative, trusted space where finance leaders across the sector can discuss shared challenges, exchange tools, and strengthen their organizations and the communities they serve.
Why Join?
Facilitated by a Spectrum team member and informed by nonprofit finance experts, this Community of Practice blends structured discussion with candid peer dialogue. Through monthly sessions, you’ll:
- Foster relationships with other nonprofit finance leaders
- Discuss shared challenges in a supportive environment
- Develop big-picture and tactical skills
- Spark new ideas and share best practices
As a participant, you set the agenda. Each session is uniquely shaped by participant interests and real-time challenges, featuring topics such as:
- Cybersecurity
- Board communication
- Audit preparation
- Emerging issues identified by participants
In addition to hands-on facilitation, Spectrum provides relevant templates and resources to help you put your newfound insights to work at your nonprofit.
